Bought for friend. She likes it

Works great for walking the dog & kayaking. A few mosquitoes tried biting me on the hand & arm but I had time to kill them before they bit completely. I now spray a bit of bug spray & no problem.

This is so helpful for buggy areas. We have horrible bugs right now that just fly into your eye, and this stops it. I have really only used the top thus far, but when I am in the woods doing weeding, I will wear the bottoms as well to stop the ticks, which are everywhere, and find their way under socks and tight leggings. The zipper in front is a good touch to be able to reach in and adjust a hat, take a drink, or other without having to pull the whole thing off.

This worked really well. The headpiece keeps all the bugs out of my ears. I didn’t get one bite in this. It snagged a little. My neighbors will think I’m crazy but I can stay out longer to get the job done. The key here is buy big because it keeps the net off your skin.

We use this when we have hundreds/thousands of mosquitoes around. It is a bit warm, but it does keep the bugs away. We wear a baseball style cap to keep the netting away from our face. I think they are sized for men, so they seem to run large in size. Highly recommend

I bought this as a gag gift to take camping for my daughter who is terrified of bugs. She wore it the whole weekend! I am buying more to keep in our camping supplies. She wore a floppy sun hat with it and made it a little less awkward. She looked like a dork but was protected and she will wear it again.

These work! I like that the top has room to wear a hat and a zipper so that you can get to your face if you need to. The face portion is darker mesh, so that you can see. It takes a minute, but I get used to it fast. The cords are good quality. This is perfect for throwing on before quick errand on the yard, to avoid bug spray, but I’ve also used them for clearing my tree line, which is swarming with mosquitos.

Worked like a charm, even for the no-see-ums. I spent a weekend in the Florida Everglades and the bugs there were ferocious. I hardly got bitten at all, except for my ankles and feet which were exposed from time to time. I loved the double zipper in the front - I brought the two zippers together in the middle and was able to sip from a water bottle whenever I wanted to without exposing myself unduly. I did get a few holes in the netting when I sat too close to a friend who was smoking a cigar and had small sparks flying whenever they would pull on the cigar. This was easily remedied with a small piece of clear tape but I will be steering clear of all open fires from now on. Invaluable protection on bug-intensive excursions.

I use this every time i go out and work in the yard...i am so happy not to get bug bites or have to wear layers that make me over heat...i can wear a tank top under this it keeps me cool and bite free...i wear the hood over my face and do not care who sees me..LOL it keeps the neighbors away too ahahhaa no really....this item has been a gem and it is cheap enough where i do not mind buying a new one as needed...i got one for my mom and best friend also...they love it... if i want a sweatshirt under it..also keeps poison ivy further from skin should i brush against it...this shirt gives me a fighting chance against ticks also....i like not having to use bug spray or the bug repellant fan....this is far more safe and easy to use..

"This is the worst year for exposure to mosquitoes and other biting insects that I've experienced in Michigan over the last 70 years. Most of the summer if I went outside I had to cover myself with chemical insect repellant just to get work done in the yard.
This jacket got rid of the need for chemical repellants and allowed our family to enjoy the outdoors without being bitten to pieces by insects. The netting is small enough to keep out the tinest of bugs. The netting in the face area is specially designed to allow you to see clear through it. I highly recommend this product."
William Hargrove
This mosquito jacket is perfect! The netting is just stiff enough, but still comfortable. The cut is very generous, which is needed to keep the netting off of the body and prevent bugs from biting through the jacket. There are elastic drawstrings at the wrists and along the bottom to adjust as needed. The X-large would work well for a large man, but the elastic can be adjusted so that it would also work for someone with a smaller frame. The attached head net is large enough to wear a cap or hat to keep the netting away from face. It is completely sewn across the back, and there's a zipper across the front along the neckline that opens from both sides, allowing access to the face to eat or drink, but fully enclosed when zipped, keeping bugs out. The mesh is tight enough to keep no-see-ums out.

"Mosquitos find me a particularly attractive subject. A neighbor showed me her bug jacket (a different maker) and liked it but found its mesh was hot to wear. When I found this bug jacket that does not have plastic mesh and was less expensive, I decided to give it a try.
Very happy to say that it is very lightweight, not too hot. Breathes well and is fairly comfortable to wear. It seems to be quite effective for protecting me on walks about the neighborhood. It is easily packable for taking on trips whether into the Rocky Mountains or for longer overseas adventures. A hood can be zipped over your head or left to dangle in back like any other hoodie."

I'm an avid gardener with a lot of buggy areas to weed. I'm not able to use DEET on my skin and this bug suit has saved the day! No mosquitos, no see ums or ticks got through. Plenty of headroom for a wide brimmed hat. Front of neck has a double zipper so you can work with your head out or get a drink. It is very baggy, but you wouldn't want it to sit close to your skin for both comfort and effectiveness. If you are working in the shade with a nice breeze, this is the way to go. I was pretty comfortable in leggings and a t-shirt in 83F breezy weather. And I got so much more done in a shorter amount of time because I wasn't afraid to get down in there and really weed out the buggy areas! Get the pants too!

You look weird- but it is like carrying around your own personal tent. Not as cool as wearing no extra covering, but a lot better than long sleeves and pants! I have used these for years to hike in the Cascades at the height of bug season. I can rest, look at views, even take a nap during lunch, without being bitten. Everyone else can't stand still for a few seconds. Way preferable to putting smelly and oily bug spray on.

Great at keeping the bugs off. Loose enough to not restrict movement. In the perfect world it would be whatever color would make it opaque so you could wear it without clothing underneath. It gets pretty warm in there. Also would like the knees to have some extra material so I could kneel while in bug suit. Other than that, I will always use this suit when out gardening. I attract ticks just walking outside so this allows me to actually get some yard work done but free!! Thank you!!

I was flying my drone the other day to get some footage and I was getting eaten alive by Buffalo Gnats and Horseflies. Man, it hurt. The horseflies felt like I was getting hit with BBs. I ordered this and went back out to fly and they were not in my face they could not bite me easily or find a nice spot on my back to get me like they usually do. It was very nice to not have to worry about them. I am pleased

This was great! Now we can work in the yard while the black-flies are out in force. I like that I can unzip half of the head part and put it back like a hood, since I like to do that when they aren't biting too bad, to have a clearer view of what I'm doing, but this jacket is useful. I bought one for me and one for my husband, The jackets were extremely roomy, but since we move around a lot, I wouldn't say they were too large. There are drawstrings at the edges and a zipper at the neck. We are glad we bought these and have put them away carefully now for use in the coming years. Recommended if you live in black-fly country!

It's a huge help doing yard work when you live next to wet lands and the mosquitos are large enough to carry off a toddler. I've been wearing it since I got it in May, it's wonderful. I'm 5'9" & 150lbs, the body comes well past my hips & the arms are long enough. The hood fits well, even over a ball cap. There are nice adjustable elastics at the wrists & waist so you can make it as tight as you like. Last weekend while mulching I noticed that if the mesh is tight against your body you can still get bit but it's SO much less than before, I'm really thankful to have this. I'm sick & tired of wearing stinky, slimy bug spray just to work in the yard or sit at the fire pit.

I bought the XL size to wear over clothing. I am super allergic to mosquitoes and was doomed to summer inside...until I found this! I wear it walking, to festivals, to work in the yard, to paint outside (I'm an artist). This is lightweight, comfortable, cool, easy to see through (plus hood zips for drinking or if you want to fold it back). Tighteners at wrists and waist. Sturdy- I have worn it almost everyday since purchasing for a variety of activities- no rips or tears, even when the dog jumped on me. Condenses nicely to fit in purse or bag.

I had been attacked by mosquitos and would not go outside anymore to work in my garden. My son told me about this item so I bought it and problem solved. It is the best and I highly recommend it if you have a problem with summer flying bugs.

This totally saves my life at work. Working around water at a treatment plant on top of all the spiders and mosquitoes this is a MUST! Everyone thought I was crazy at first until at the end of the day...I'm the only one not eaten by bugs lol Its light weight, breathable. I'll definitely keeping this suit on my list! Love it.

This bug suit is such a relief. It comes in a nice bag, is easy to use, and not uncomfortable. The shoulders and back were still vulnerable because the mesh rests directly on my shirt there. I few puffy standoffs would be helpful there. Totally might buy some for my kids so they will consider hiking with me this time of year.

Exactly as advertised. Fits well with a little room to move. Mesh is admittedly tough to tear, but seems a little more delicate at the seams. I would say it could puncture, snag, or tear if caught on any thorn or something of that nature. This is ultra small, ultra light, and a definite lifesaver in the woods. Comes in a very cool stuff sack,

My family laughed at me when I bought these, now they all want them! I received a small bag cinched for travel and inside a well made pair of mosquito net pants and jacket. Super lightweight, fits over everything, and is pretty camo, doesn't look obnoxious. I got 5 ticks on Long Island earlier this year, no ticks or spiders will be a bother. Highly recommend seller!!!

We got these Mosquito Suits because bug season in New Hampshire is pretty intense and we like being able to take a walk in the woods without getting bitten up. These suits work great. The hood takes some getting used to because you have to look through the mesh in order to see. Well worth the effort though to enjoy a walk or hike.

"After my stem cell transplant I have developed a severe allergy to mosquito bites, enduring days of pain, blistery wounds, and severe scarring UNTIL I found this set!
Living in Heartland Florida surrounded by cattle and orange groves, mosquitoes thrive here most of the year. I am now able to be outside without the above issues. This set is easy to wear and washes well. Its well worth ordering a backup set. I personally own 2 sets, one for regular wear and one as yardwork wear. "

I despise flying insects buzzing my head and mosquitoes biting me. I am one that's rather allergic and get big, itchy bumps with every mosquito bite. They itch for weeks! While my husband laughed at me for wearing it, sayingbI looked like a bee keeper (no hat on though), I was not bit or bothered by any bugs while outside in the evening. The mesh is very fine, so I doubt much can bite thru it. It did get warm with it on, something I did not expect, since it is mesh. But, if it keeps the dang bugs off me, I'll be a bit warm!

"I hated going to the park because I was an insect magnet. I'd come home with bites in places I never imagined. Having the pants and the top part, made such a big difference! It was breathable too. I can now bring my laptop, sit at the park bench for hours, and not feel itchy all over. I don't wear the hood (removable), and just wear insect repellant on the face often. When a nice breeze runs through, I feel it because it is breathable. Great purchase for me and so worth the money!
The only thing that would make it even more perfect, is if they sent me another one! haha (kidding but not really). "

The mosquitoes are miserable this year, so I bought this suit so I can spend time walking the dogs around our property without being eaten alive by mosquitoes. You definitely need to wear a layer of clothes and a hat to help keep the mosquitoes off the areas where the suit rests on your body. The suit is lightweight, very breathable, so wearing a light layer and hat was fine on an 80F day. The drawstrings work great, and the items come packaged in a convenient storage sack. 5-stars!

WHY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS SOONER!!!! Every avid gardener in the South should have this in their arsenal. A friend told me about it and I immediately bought one. I used it in July in the late afternoon when the mosquitos are active in the dampest, shadiest part of my garden and NO BITES. This was after 1 hr of gardening! The only downside is that you will sweat. I was in yoga pants and a t-shirt. So dress light perhaps.

Very pleased with this time. Works very well to keep the bugs away from the face and other exposed skin. We got two, one for me and one for the wife. The following is NOT really a criticism, (Note the 5-star rating. ) but information. the elastic around the sleeves is far longer than necessary. the excess keeps catching on branches or other things. No problem; I cinched them down as tight as they would go, moved the clasp thingy, then cut off most of the excess and retied the ends together. That said, would strongly recommend the product.

I live in Northern Vermont where we have "black fly season". It's essentially about 5-7 weeks where tiny black flies are out. They swarm your face in droves, going in you're eyes, ears, and even your nose! It makes being outside during this time unbearable, which is unfortunate because that's the time when it's finally getting warm and you can put seedlings in the garden. I bought this bug jacket out of desperation - and I'm SO GLAD I did!!! I can finally be outside and get stuff done! Getting the garden ready, hiking the trails, or just enjoying the warmth. I would recommend a wide brimmed hat for under the jacket, so that there are several inches of clearance of the mesh netting and your face. We will be buying more! I just wish I could find a pediatric size so that my kiddos could have one too.

I was surprised at how well made this item is, given the low cost. The part that goes over the head is big enough for me to wear a broad brimmed hat under it so that it holds the netting away from my face and neck, and the mosquitoes can't reach me to bite . The jacket itself goes down to my thighs. I wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt under it, so that's a layer of fabric as well as the layer of netting. Then I spray an essential oil bug repellent over all of that.

We have a vacation cottage in central Ontario. Black flies, mosquitoes, and deer flies are horrible during May and June. I wear these pants with my Original Bug Jacket which comes down and cinches at the hips preventing bugs from getting into clothing. I also wear tube socks over the the ankle elastics. The pants are cool and comfortable especially with a bathing suit or shorts underneath. They also wash beautifully in an automatic washer and dryer.

My husband gets attached by black flies and mosquitoes. He uses this to mow and work outside in the spring, summer. It has saved him from loosing lots of blood, and itching all night.
